It was built at the spot where the trinity cathedral once stood. The patron was Ivan the Terrible who ordered the construction of the cathedral in 1552 to mark the victory and capture of the Kazan province of the Mongol forces. It took about eight years to complete the entire structure. This landmark is used as a museum today and attracts a lot of tourists from all over the world.

The Little Mermaid statue in Copenhagen, Denmark, is a splendid statue of a little Mermaid sitting on a granite stone. The entire sculpture is located on the Langelinie Pier in the city of Copenhagen. This sculpture was designed and built in the year of 1913 under the patronage of Carl Jacobsen, the heir of the founder of Carlsberg. The statue was designed and created by the sculptor Edvard Eriksen with his wife as the model for the statue.

The tourists are awed by the mesmerizing view of the city they get from the foot platform of the statue. The commencement of the construction of this statue started from the year of 1921 to commemorate 100th independence anniversary of Brazil. It took almost 10 years to build this statue.

The tower dates back to the year in 1174 and signifies the artistic thought and technique of the Roman architects. The leaning tower of Pisa is cylindrical in shape and has the architectural features of Romanesque style. The tower consists of six open galleries. The top of the tower can be reached after mounting 294 steps in a spiral manner.
