A camping license has been finally granted to the Jersey Music Festival in its 10th edition. In the festival’s history, it’ll be the first time that camping will be an option since it got started back in 2004.
For overseas visitors, this will not only be making the festival more accessible but it will also be a lot more affordable. The reason behind this is the 3-day camping passes which would be coming for about £30.
The entertainment license panel of Jersey Bailiff has been granting permission to the festival all these years . However this year, not only a go-ahead signal was given by them to the festival’s organisers, but for the first time since its inception, a camping license was also granted by them.
The camping location is at La Route de Trinite, a mile away from the festival grounds. A minibus service will be ferrying the campers to the grounds from the campsite. The camp will also be offering some festival mod cons like a “Boutique Camping” spot with an option of hiring tipis and luxurious yurts for the weekend.
Festival organisers are quite ecstatic with this whole procedure finally going into motion. They have even stated that the campsite addition will allow the festival goers in living and breathing the festival atmosphere throughout the weekend.
