Flandrau State Park based in New Ulm will be conducting a program where families will get to learn all the basic skills that are required for camping outdoors. The program is named “I Can Camp” and the training will be offered for one night.
Experienced instructors will be available through Conservation Corps Minnesota to teach the participants different skills of camping like starting a campfire, setting up a tent and preparing delicious but simple meals.

The fee for the program is $40 for one tent accommodating six people. Participants get 1 day vehicle without paying any extra price and they may even opt for a 1 year permit for Minnesota State Parks by paying an additional $20.
The program will require advance registration and those who are interested can call 866-857-2757 any day between 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
