The 39th annual Maple Syrup festival is going to be held Sunday, the 10th March 2013 at the Lutheran Memorial Camp. The camp timings are from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm.
The camp provides camping experience for all age groups with environmental educational and outdoor activities. Lodges and locales are available for public rental on special occasions inside the camp.
The event takes place at South of Fulton on State Route 61 and five miles north of I-71. The location is situated in over 400 acres of rolling woodlands.
The entertainment at the festival includes the Avalon Nine and Friends. Campers can go on Tractor and horse drawn wagon rides.
Maple doughnuts and Sassafras tea will be sold at the Apple Butter Shelter and the real maple syrup, hot and cold drinks, LMC T-Shirts and souvenirs will be available for sale at the Cedar Lodge.
The camp charges $7 for adults; $5 for youths in the age group of 5 to 12 years and children of four years and under for free.
